I’m very impressed … awed ! Such memories !
Personal bonds include the Airplane , any free music bands (which were actually never free , as the bands had to shell out the bread for transportation and a dozen other expenses) , Owsley , very many musical/artistic immortals who were seen for between $2.50 and $3.25 … Saw Pink Floyd , as a lead-off ( ! ) for $2.75 (I believe) , remember Sunday Woodstock , later S.D.S. , Mayday 71 , the first Earth Day , … I could just go on and on .
I’m old (from a chronologist’s view) , don’t have much dough , but still dream so young and just love those flashbacks !
Thank You Friend ! Wishing you all the good things , wally
Good Grief , but please forgive me … I’ve never sent two notes back to back before !
I’ve an interesting personal story re the day that I was drafted (refused , no support , FBIx3 , Leavenworth 7-10 w/ rape promises ,
made to walk through over 300 other draftees – the NAFEAS staff expected spit and curses and I got cheers and well wishes and cried … long touching story)
If you know of any Mayday ‘71 people/orgs , PLEASE let me know .
Me know ? Old , as noted . Still very happily fixed on the period when not on duty as a psych R.N. . (An admonition : I AM
the village computer idiot , by both design and choice … sorry.)
Again , this is wonderful , and you may share my notes with whomever you wish . Thanks again , All the best ! wally
